Hunter has held a camera in his hands for most of his life. Born and raised in Southern California, Hunter began working as a camera assistant in broadcast television and independent films after graduating from the prestigious Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. In 2003 Hunter was given the opportunity to work as a camera operator on Vogue TV's "Trend Watch" and Warner Brothers' "Elimidate." Over the past twelve years, Hunter has been an assistant camera, gaffer, camera operator and now director of photography. He has shot series for Warner Brothers, HBO, MTV, ABC Family, TLC, AMC, G4TV, and VH1 among others. Recently, Hunter was the director of photography for MTV's "Say it in Song" as well as AMC's ICON Series. In addition to his television work, Hunter continues to DP independent films including narratives and documentaries. He recently finished work on "Speak," a feature length documentary on the fear of public speaking for Tumbleweed Entertainment. He has also been working in the commercial world shooting spots for Kraft Foods, Dove Hair, and Zoom Sound Systems among others. Hunter is a storyteller who utilizes his talent and experience in the visual medium to bring a creative teams vision to life.
